Janurary 1st is coming fast.

Tomorrow is Christmas Eve! I don't know about everyone else but it came out of no where this year! So many things have happened in the past year I'm not sure if I'm ready to give up on it.

I have thought about coming back to this page and starting over. I have seen so many fun blogs and I just wanted to create my own. This is 1 of my new years resolutions. I WILL blog. I don't care if people read it. I will do it and have fun with it.

I will be posting about Food and Fitness mostly. Food because I am starting to find my inner chef and Fitness because I am really starting to push my self to become stronger and leaner. In 8 days the year 2015 will be here and I am getting excited for what this year will bring!

Keep in touch!

Happy Holidays!

Marselle the Mailman

Every pet owner has nightmares of the day that their beloved pet(s) passes away. Last month that day came to my family and we lost our dog, Marselle. He wasn't ill or seemed any different from any other day. He was taken from us, out of the blue. As sad as it was being with him while he past, I'm  glad that I was able to be with him and say good bye. Marselle was my best friend, he knew all my secrets and always new how to put a smile on my face.
The lost of a believed pet isn't easy for anyone, whether you have to put them down because of an accident or illness, or losing them randomly. Its all very hard to deal with.
While I was saying my good byes to my dog, crying my eyes out and wondering how thing could possibly happen. A friend was trying to comfort me, in saying that she was told that when a pet dies and goes to heaven they are giving a job, like a nurse or mailman. I smiled as I imagined Marselle wearing a blue hat and delivering mail. He was one of the friendliest dog, he would make an amazing mail carrier!
I miss Marselle so much, he will always have a spot in my heart. I think about him everyday, and I know that he is watching over everyone in my family!

Posted below is the Rainbow bridge poem, Its a great poem and can mean alot to someone who lost a pet.

~~~~~The Rainbow Bridge~~~~~~~~~~~
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....
Rest in Peace Marselle
